DP ARCHIVAL RELEASE 006 =======

A collection of live recordings that documents Pitre's early drone experiments for ensemble. The raw "Early Ensemble Drone" recordings (tracks 3-5) capture his very first experiments, which took place May-July 2005. A few months later these studies would spawn the studio tracks on the composer's debut album “Organized Pitches Occurring in Time” (recorded in October 2005). The Burlington and Paris performances (from 2007/2008, respectively) would see some "formalization" of the conceptual composition and the piece would continue to further develop into Pitre's “ED09.”
